Training

Best Options Care continue comprehensive induction training to regularly update to the latest standards.

This allows us to be confident in the competency of our staff as we regularly supervised, trained appraised and routinely audited their work.

They are trained in the following;

  • Health and Safety
  • Safeguarding of vulnerable adults
  • Medication
  • Dementia
  • Basic life support
  • Infection Prevention and Control
  • Privacy and Dignity
  • End of Life

All our care workers will have either already attained or be in the process of attaining an QCF (former NVQ) in Health and Social Care.

All staff undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, this was formerly known as CRB; Criminal Records Bureau check.
