Personal Care

Whether due to illness, age or a disability we understand that basic personal care tasks can be difficult. At Star choice dignicare we have qualified care attendants who can assist you with all kinds of personal care whether you require this help often or just from time-to-time.

Companionship Services

For many of our service users we have found they don’t necessarily need home care, just would sometimes like a companion, someone to have a cup of tea and a chat with or to support them during various activities. At Star choice dignicare we understand how much a trusted, friendly companion can mean.

Escort to appointments

Our service users will regularly have appointments with doctors, hospitals and other places. Often they will be unable to attend these appointments by their own means and our workers are required to assist them. All of our care workers are insured to carry their service users in their own cars or whatever transport is arranged.

Hobbies and Outings

Our care staff will encourage service users to partake in hobbies or visit places of interest to them. Staying active and doing things that they enjoy is important and allows them to lead a more fulfilling lifestyle. Our care staff will accompany services users to lunch meetings, attend social clubs or plan outings. This will allow them to have much needed social interaction throughout the day.

We offer a full range of practical and personal help tailored to your individual requirements. Our services are available short or long term, from a 30 minute call to 24 hour care. When it comes to making a decision about care services, we understand the pressures and questions that you might have. Whether considering this for yourself or for a relative, we work closely with you to help you make the right decision and provide a service tailored around your exact needs.
